The Washington Post released transcripts of President Donald Trump's calls with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto and Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull. In his call with Pres. Peña Nieto, Pres. Trump "lashed out" over the "flow of illegal drugs into the United States" from Mexico," including an apparent reference to NH's opioid crisis.

“We have a massive drug problem where kids are becoming addicted to drugs because the drugs are being sold for less money than candy,” Trump said, according to The Washington Post. “I won New Hampshire because New Hampshire is a drug-infested den.”

Trump won the NH Republican primary with 35.3 percent of the vote, but lost the general election in NH to Hillary Clinton, who received 46.8 percent of the vote against Trump's 46.5 percent share.
