Published Monday Mar 12, 2012

Tonya Rochette, vice president of Human Resource Partners (HRP), was recently named Young Professional (YP) of the Year by the Concord Young Professionals Network (CYPN). Nominees for the award were evaluated on professional accomplishments, civic involvement, and positive community impact.

Tim Sink, president of the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce, introduced the inaugural YP of the Year award at CYPN's Cheers to 5 Years anniversary party in February at the Grappone Conference Center.  Prior to revealing the Young Professional of the Year, Sink said of the winner, The recipient is a highly successful entrepreneur. Their dedication and professionalism are outstanding. In addition to being an expert in their field and a professional of the highest caliber, this person has been a quiet champion forging their way, each and every day to make our local community and our state a better place to live, work, play, be "cultured" and raise a family.

Sink highlighted Rochette's active role with several boards, committees, and volunteer positions, including CYPN's Steering Committee, Intown Concord's Board of Directors, and Concord TV's Board of Directors.  In addition to being a graduate of Leadership Greater Concord, Rochette is a current participant in Leadership New Hampshire, active leader of the Chamber's Capital Area Student Leadership (CASL) program, and a regular volunteer in local classrooms.
