King Pine Ski Area in East Madison appointed Shawn Taylor (pictured here) as general manager. Taylor has been a member of the King Pine team since 1986, including ski and snowboard instruction, working in lift maintenance and snowmaking.

Fidium Fiber is expanding its all-fiber internet network in Hinsdale, bringing multi-gig speed service to more than 900 homes and businesses in the community.

Plymouth State University has been awarded $4.67 million in federal grants to support key sustainability projects. include new solar arrays on building rooftops, such as the Savage Welcome Center & Ice Arena and the Silver Center for the Arts, and insulation, heat and energy efficiency upgrades at the Physical Education Center. It also includes the installation of a Renewable Energy Open Lab, which will provide students with hands-on learning opportunities with the latest in sustainable energy technology. The new solar arrays are expected to generate approximately three times as much energy as the existing solar panels on the Physical Education Center.

Elliot Health System in Manchester is the first in NH to use the LAVA Liquid Embolic System by Sirtex Medical. The LAVA system is designed to stop blood flow in targeted blood vessels. It is the first and only liquid embolic approved for the treatment of peripheral vascular hemorrhage. This use of LAVA was successfully completed by Vibhor Wadhwa, MD, interventional radiologist with Southern NH Radiology Consultants at Elliot Hospital.
