NH Trust, which provides financial planning services, named Cydney Shapleigh (pictured here) as named senior VP, Senior Manager of Growth Strategy. She previously served as EVP, chief wealth management officer for Bank of NH. Shapleigh is a certified trust and fiduciary advisor. She currently sits on the board of Northeast Delta Dental in Concord and also serves as chair of the Governance Committee.

Sanford Temperature Control, a Milford-based plumbing and HVAC contractor signed a long-term lease for the entire high bay warehouse building at 201 Allard St. in Manchester, which formerly housed Ray the Mover. The company is expanding its footprint and will make the building its new company headquarters. Colliers, a commercial real estate services firm in Manchester, facilitated the lease agreement for the 35,740-square-foot building.

The Greater Rochester Community Health Foundation provided $250,000 in grants to 20 nonprofits working to improve the health and well-being of people in Strafford County: Community Action Partnership of Strafford County (CAPSC) in Dover ($25,000), Dover Mental Health Alliance in Dover ($25,000), Greater Seacoast Community Health in Portsmouth ($25,000), Waypoint in Manchester (which operates sites in Dover and Rochester) ($25,000), Behavioral Health & Development Services of Strafford County (Community Partners) in Dover ($10,000), Cornerstone VNA in Rochester ($10,000), Cooperative Alliance for Seacoast Transportation (COAST) in Dover ($10,000), Dover Children’s Home in Dover ($10,000), Gather in Portsmouth ($10,000), Great Bay Servicesin Dover ($10,000), Haven in Portsmouth ($10,000), Homeless Center for Strafford County in Rochester ($10,000), Reproductive Freedom Fund of NH in Dover ($10,000), SHARE Fund in Rochester ($10,000), SOS Recovery Community Organization in Rochester ($10,000), Strafford Nutrition & Meals on Wheels in Somersworth ($10,000), Triangle Club in Dover ($10,000), Tri-City Consumers’ Action Co-Operative (Infinity Peer Support) in Rochester ($10,000), Vouchers for Veterans in Rochester ($7,500), Zebra Crossings in Dover ($2,500).

Cooperative Alliance for Seacoast Transportation (COAST) was awarded a $25,000 grant from the Cogswell Benevolent Trust. The grant funds will help support the final design and construction of the nonprofit organization's new administration, operations, and maintenance facility in Dover.

The M&T Charitable Foundation, the philanthropic arm of M&T Bank, provided $8.2 million in donations to 68 nonprofit organizations across New England and Long Island and Rockland County New York, including $325,000 to NH organizations, including Catholic Charities, Easterseals NH, HAVEN, Friends of Peterborough Recreation Projects, and more.

SilverTech, a digital experience agency in Manchester, is was awarded Digital Agency Partner of the Year by Progress Sitefinity, a provider of digital experience content management solutions.

Socha Companies in Manchester was honored with the 2023 Cornerstone Award for Best Multifamily Construction Market Rate by the NH Home Builders Association. It was awarded for The Timbers, a townhouse community of 200 new construction town homes designed and managed by Socha Companies.

Tighe & Bond, which has offices in NH,  has acquired Cape Cod-based Coastal Engineering Co. (Coastal), a civil, structural, and waterfront/marine engineering firm that specializes in projects located in environmentally sensitive areas.
