Merrimack County Savings Bank (The Merrimack) in Concord pledged $100,000 over two years to the Concord Coalition to End Homelessness to convert a commercial property on South State Street in Concord into eight one-bedroom apartment units.

Blue Mantis, an IT services firm based in Portsmouth, named President Josh Dinneen as CEO, effective Jan. 1. Long-tenured CEO Ron Dupler, who had been in the role for nearly 20 years, will become chairman.

Continuum at North Conway LLC acquired 126 acres of land from the Kennett Company, for the development of Ridgeline Community, a new mixed-use community. Plans are to build 55 or more cottages, First Step housing, ski condos, commercial leasing, medical office buildings, as well as memory care and assisted living facilities. The project is moving forward, pending final approvals from the Conway Town Planning Board.

Five NH restaurants have been recognized as the first “Ocean Friendly” restaurants in the Granite State by Surfrider Foundation for no longer using styrofoam to-go containers and plastic bags for takeout. They are: The Carriage House, Flatbread Company, The Press Room, Tideline Public House, and White Heron.
