Comcast in Manchester promoted Meena Soleiman to senior VP of technical operations and engineering for Comcast Cable’s Northeast Division. Soleiman will oversee technical operations, engineering, and the residential and commercial construction teams across 14 northeastern states from Maine through Virginia and the District of Columbia.

Dartmouth College in Hanover has partnered with Coursera, a California-based online learning platform, to launch a fully online Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering (online MEng). The degree will cost $44,100. This marks the university’s first fully online degree and the first online Ivy League master’s degree in this topic.

Right Networks, a Hudson-based develop of intelligent cloud platform purpose-built for accounting firms and professionals appointed Piyum Samaraweera as its chief product officer. Samaraweera has more than 25 years of experience in developing web, mobile solutions and services for global SaaS and cloud companies. He most recently served as chief product officer for Greenlight Guru, a company specializing in cloud-based quality management software. Previously, Samaraweera held VP positions at cloud-based property management software company Buildium and worked in product management at Intuit and Thomson Reuters.

St. Mary’s Bank in Manchester exceeded $100 million in Construction-to-Permanent (CTP) Residential Mortgage Loans, a milestone achieved since the program was relaunched in 2020 to help address New Hampshire’s housing crisis.

Southern NH University (SNHU) in Manchester was named to the Great Colleges to Work For list for the 16th consecutive year and is the only institution to receive this honor every year since the program started. SNHU was the only university in NH to earn the distinction. SNHU was also recognized by Forbes as the number one education employer in NH and top three over all in state as part of its America’s Best-In-State Employers 2023.

Jennifer L. Parent, director and chair of business litigation at McLane Middleton law firm in Manchester, was elected secretary of the Fellows of the American Bar Foundation.

Dr. Veronica Triaca, associate medical director for urology at Concord Hospital, earned the distinction of InterStim Center of Excellence (COE) by Medtronic, a medical device manufacturer. It is the highest honor bestowed to a physician from Medtronic.

Gary Dionne, a financial advisor with Lamb, Petersen & Mann Advisory Group, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services in Laconia, has been named a recipient of the 2023 Five Star Wealth Manager award by Five Star Professional. The award goes to less than 7% of the wealth managers in the region based on research administered by Five Star Professional, a third-party research firm.
