Henry Sirois was named general manager of The Wentworth, a 61-room inn located in Jackson. Sirois brings more than 25 years of experience in hotels, resorts, and restaurants to his new position, most recently serving as the general manager of the Terramor Outdoor Resort, a luxury glamping from Kampgrounds of America (KOA) in Bar Harbor, ME, in Acadia National Park. He has held numerous general manager positions for properties in the Northeast including Chautauqua Harbor Hotel in Celoron, NY; Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside in Portsmouth, NH; Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn, ME; and Captain Daniel Stone Inn in Brunswick, ME.

PROCON in Hooksett has promoted Michael Yeatman and James Grant each to VP of construction. Yeatman has 12 years of service at the company and grant is entering his second year with PROCON.

Rivier University in Nashua was awarded a two-year grant from the Lloyd B. Balfour Foundation to develop an early intervention program for at-risk nursing students. The $80,000 grant will support the Assessment and Supportive Connections for Early Nursing Development (ASCEND) program launch. This initiative aims to improve nursing students’ success, retention, and graduation rates and to help reduce the current nursing shortage.

wedü, a marketing  agency in Manchester, appointed Liam Roberge as VP of agency growth. Roberge will spearhead wedü's acquisition efforts, lead the business development team, and identify new service lines to achieve client goals . He was most recently head of customer relations at SubItUp.

The NH Tech Alliance in Manchester elected six new members to its board of directors: Marc Eichenberger, AVP, chief business development and innovation officer at UNHInnovation; Jennifer Joyce, president of SpotOn Fence, a NH startup in the dog GPS fence category; Julie Lenzer, chief innovation officer at the Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute (ARMI)  in Manchester; Scott Merrick, principal and co-founder at Darby Field Advisors, a government relations and business development firm; EJ Ponto; CFO/VP of administration at Geophysical Survey Systems Inc., a manufacturer of ground-penetrating radar equipment based in Nashua; and Peter Richard, general manager of XMA Corporation, a NH-based technology company that specializes in the design and manufacturing of advanced microwave and radio frequency components. The Alliance membership also approved electing two current board members to a second board term, Nathan Pascarella of Hypertherm and Marlana Trombley of Orbit Group

The law firm of McLane Middleton in Manchester hired attorneys Catherine E. Napjus and Joshua D. Sandler. Napjusis an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, where she focuses her practice on patent preparation and prosecution and trademark prosecution and enforcement. Sandler is an associate in the firm’s Tax Department.

Terrapin Tours, a group travel company in Woodstock, raised over $1,000 to support its Student Travel Scholarship Program for NH high school students.
