The NH Fisher Cats in Manchester, the Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, named Michael Neis as general manager. He most recently served as the regional director of sales for NASCAR. Neis began his career in professional sports as an inside sales representative with the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League. He also served as director of membership and premium services with the Oakland Athletics.

The NH Business Finance Authority honored five NH lenders with Granite State Awards for their work helping companies access the funds they need to grow their businesses.  Earle Rosse of Service Credit Union received the Bond Deal of the Year with the new cargo facility at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport that will result in over 200 new jobs. Dick Jennings of Mascoma Bank received the Community Impact Award for his work with Stevens Mill, creating 140 housing units and 32,000 square feet of commercial space in Franklin. Bill Kidder of Ledyard Bank received the award for Loan Participation of the Year for FitKids Childcare at River Valley Club in Lebanon that will add 60 new childcare spots in the Upper Valley along with 70 new jobs. Rich Burgess of Meredith Village Savings Bank was named CAP Lender of the Year. CAP stands for Capital Access Program and is designed to help small businesses access loans up to $500,000. Burgess helped 14 businesses access CAP loans for $1,085,000, supporting 52 jobs across the state. Danielle Augustine of BankProv was honored for the Loan Guarantee of the Year with Exeter Rent-All, a family-owned outdoor events company that supports over 100 jobs in the seacoast area.

Stay Work Play, a Manchester-based nonprofit whose mission is to attract and retain more young people in NH, elected to its board of directors: Kamini Jorgensen, events manager for the Boys & Girls Club of Central NH in Concord; Rochester resident Taja Sims-Harper, a doctoral student in the marine biology Ph.D. program at University of NH in Durham; and Donald Stokes, a community relations specialist with Eversource Energy in Manchester

Jennifer Wood was promoted to VP, assistant corporate controller for NH Mutual Bancorp, based out of the Concord Foundry location.

Steven D. Leach, MD, a surgical oncologist and pancreatic cancer researcher who serves as director of the Dartmouth Cancer Center in Lebanon, was elected as a board member of the Association of American Cancer Institutes.

AmeriHealth Caritas NH opened a Wellness & Opportunity Center at 25 Sundial Ave. in Manchester. The center will provide  health information and education, including financial literacy information, food preparation demonstrations, job placement services and other programs

Kevin Johnson sold The Gale River Motel in Franconia to Gale River Vacations, LLC. Badger Peabody & Smith Realty brokered the sale.

Mark Aquilino, president of Outdoor Pride Landscape & Snow Managementin Manchester, received a 2022 Leadership Award from the Accredited Snow Contractors Association (ASCA). Outdoor Pride was also recognized by ASCA on its list of Top 100 most successful companies, ranking #31.
