In the spotlight: Meredith Village Savings Bank donated $25,000 to Humble Grunt Work to support its efforts to build a new Meredith Veterans Memorial. The monument will be situated on the front lawn of the recently renovated Meredith Public Library and will feature the names of all Meredith residents who honorably served the U.S. since the Revolutionary War.

Gabriella Parisse, CEO of Velcro Companies, was appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston's New England Advisory Council. She will share her perspective on the global business conditions affecting NH, New England, the U.S. and the Velcro Companies portfolio, including economic factors, current monetary policy and other topics of common interest to the Council and the Federal Reserve System.

The Moore Center will hold its signature Garden Party on Thursday, June 23, from 4 to 6:30 pm at the Brady Sullivan Tower on Elm Street. The annual event is a major fundraiser and honors a person or persons who have made a positive impact on the greater Manchester community. This year’s honorees are Ellie and David Cochran.

Cathleen E. Morrow, MD, associate professor of community and family medicine at Dartmouth Health and the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, was named the 2022 NH Family Physician of the Year by the NH Academy of Family Physicians.
