Stebbins Commercial Properties facilitated the sale of 719 South Willow Street, Manchester, to Global Business of Bedford. Mike Reed of Stebbins Commercial Properties represented the seller. Randy Parker and Mohammad Mobeen assisted the buyer. Per the Registry of Deeds, the sale price was $989,000.

TFMoran in Bedford contributed $5,000 to the New Hampshire Children’s Scholarship Fund, which provides financial assistance to NH children of low- and moderate-income families to attend K-12 schools that best fit their needs. These scholarships can apply to private schools, out-of-district schools, and homeschooling. These families earn an income of $48,000 or less, meaning they cannot afford to pay their school’s full tuition.

TFMoran was voted the Gold winner for Best Engineering Firm, and the Gold winner for Best Landscape Architect in the Commercial Real Estate category. Mascoma Community Development closed a New Markets Tax Credit allocation resulting in $2.466 million to support the development of the Nashua Performing Arts Center in Nashua. The facility will be operated by Spectacle Management and provide a venue that will feature events, theatrical performances, and private gatherings.

Cornerstone VNA in Rochester is expanding their building and renovating their existing space, which they have occupied since 2001. Over the past 20 years, Cornerstone has experienced significant growth and more than doubled its service area from 19 to 43 communities. AVA Gallery and Art Center in Lebanon appointed Samantha Eckert as exhibition manager. Eckert has served as interim manager since October. A practicing artist, Eckert credits classes that she took at AVA in the 1990s for reawakening her interest in painting and inspiring her to pursue an advanced degree in the visual arts.

HRCU in Rochester hired Donna West as director of human resources. West takes the lead on overseeing the credit union’s HR efforts companywide. She brings nearly a decade of HR experience, most recently serving as the HR manager at RiverWoods Durham.

Waste Management in Rochester donated $5,000 to End 68 Hours of Hunger’s Rochester program. The donation will support the mission of the organization to keep children fed during the “68 hours” between their school lunch on Friday, until their school breakfast on Monday. Even during remote learning, school districts are rising to the challenge of providing school meals and End 68 Hours of Hunger continues to provide weekend food for local families in need of help.

The NH Electric Co-op Foundation in Plymouth awarded 10 grants in December totaling $46,210. The following organizations received grants ranging from $2,000 - $10,000: Advice to the Players (Sandwich), Believe in Books Literacy Foundation (Intervale), Circle Program (Plymouth), Family Resource Center of Gorham, Kismet Rock Foundation (North Conway), Mayhew Program (Bristol), Prescott Farm Environmental Education Center (Laconia), Salvation Army of Laconia, Town of Campton Park and Recreation Afterschool Program, West Central Behavioral Health (Lebanon).

Parcel Room in Portsmouth, a pack and ship business located in Portsmouth was sold by Jeff Ballantyne to Ryan Boccelli and Jason Newman. The transaction was brokered by Ed Settino, a business broker with NH Business Sales of Pembroke. Financing was provided by Provident Bank.

Bank of New Hampshire hired David Cassidy as vice president, commercial loan officer. He will oversee commercial lending in Gorham for the Northern NH region.
