In the Spotlight: NH Mutual Bancorp promoted Dayna Titus to vice president and deposit operations officer for sister community mutual banks, Meredith Village Savings Bank, Merrimack County Savings Bank and Savings Bank of Walpole. Titus joined the organization more than 17 years ago.

The City of Nashua continues its transition to 100% clean energy with two new solar arrays: a 1,760-panel array on the roof of Fairgrounds Middle School and a 534-panel array on the roof of Dr. Crisp Elementary School. Both projects were completed at no cost to taxpayers by ReVision Energy, a local employee-owned Benefit Corporation. They are the first public schools in NH to meet 100% of their annual electricity needs from solar.

Concord Hospital has entered into a partnership with ApprenticeshipNH and two NH community colleges to hire and train licensed nursing assistants and help meet demand for essential health care workers. Individuals will be hired by the hospital then go through a structured classroom training. The instruction is offered through a partnership between NHTI and Manchester Community College (MCC), with MCC offering the instruction while NHTI will serve as a local training site for the program.

Bonnette, Page & Stone Corp. of Laconia began construction on the new Mittersill Performance Center in Franconia, serving as the construction managers for the building designed by Port One Architects from Portsmouth. Site work is being performed by Presby Construction of Franconia. The project is a partnership of the Franconia Ski Club, the State of NH, the Holderness School and the U.S. Ski Team.

Portsmouth Regional Hospital was named a Top Teaching Hospital nationally by The Leapfrog Group. The quality of patient care across many areas of hospital performance is considered in establishing the qualifications for the award, including infection rates, practices for safer surgery, maternity care, and the hospital’s capacity to prevent medication errors.

North Branch Construction of Concord began work on a 6,900-square-foot pre-engineered steel building, which will house a testing and engineering range at the Sig Sauer Academy campus in Epping. Port One Architects from Portsmouth is providing architectural design services, Jones & Beach Engineers is providing civil engineering services, and Trexler Engineering is the structural engineer for the project.

Each year, employees of Triangle Credit Union, headquartered in Nashua, support the Salvation Army of Greater Nashua’s Angel Tree Tag program. A total of 41 tree tag requests were filled by Triangle’s staff for this year’s holiday season, filling requests for from bicycles, clothing, shoes, baby formula and diapers.
