Cheshire Medical Center in Keene welcomes the Rev. Winnie Skeates of Hancock as Interfaith Chaplain. Skeates has more than thirty years of church leadership experience in lay and ordained roles; and 25 years of human resources management experience, including employment in Cheshire’s HR department.

The Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra appointed Susanne Powers, a professional violinist and orchestra administrator, as its new full-time executive director. Powers started playing violin at age 10, is a violin teacher and concert violinist who most recently served as the general manager of the Cape Ann Symphony in Massachusetts.

Polaris Direct in Hooksett hired Cristina Adair to its marketing team as an account manager. Adair has more than 15 years of project management experience in online and print marketing, and has worked with globally recognized brands, such as Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren.

Sanctuary Alternative Treatment Center in Plymouth, a non-profit therapeutic cannabis provider, has opened a location in North Conway. The newest Sanctuary ATC dispensary is on White Mountain Highway in Conway.

NHTI - Concord’s Community College recently received a donation of a Lean Automated Robotic Soldering System from BAE Systems to support the college’s robotics and automation programs. The machine will enhance students’ understanding of modern advanced manufacturing systems by allowing them to work on sophisticated industrial equipment used in today’s workplace.

Memorial Hospital in North Conway hired Nicole Veilleux, certified nurse midwife, for its Women’s Health department. Having just completed her studies at Yale School of Nursing and a clinical rotation at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, Veilleux brings extensive clinical training.

Jewett Construction in Raymond hired Eric Woodmansee as an assistant project manager. He has more than 12 years of experience in the field.

Mr. Mac’s Macaroni and Cheese in Manchester, through their “Mac Gives Back” initiative, raised $2,000 to support the Manchester Salvation Army “Kids Café” program. Along with the cash donation, Mr. Mac’s also provided two dinners to the children.

Meredith Village Savings Bank pledged to purchase $50,000 in tax credits from Lakes Region Community Developers to support Harriman Hill Homes, a development of 20 affordable starter homes in Wolfeboro. Tax credit sales will offset the cost of the road, water and sewer infrastructure so the homes can be sold for around $200,000 to first-time buyers who make less than 120% of the area median income, which is $83,000 for a family of four.
