In the Spotlight: The Falls Chamber of Commerce is moving from its current location downtown to 472 High St. in Somersworth. The new location will have regular office hours with reception services and conference room availability and the move is expected to be completed in October. The former chamber building at 58 High St. was purchased by Loren Penton and William Poole, who will be opening WM Poole Confections in the fall of 2020.

Kristine E. Stoddard, Bi-State Primary Care Association’s director of NH public policy since 2012, was selected for Leadership NH's Class of 2020. Other news at the association includes Adam Woodall, manager of IT and office systems, earning CISSP credentials for his technical knowledge and experience to design, engineer, implement, and manage the overall security systems.

Motor coach operator Jeff Lacourse of C&J Bus Lines in Rollinsford was awarded the 2019 NH Motor Transport Association’s Master Truck Driver Certification, which recognizes commercial drivers with a high level of professionalism. Lacourse joined C&J in 2008 and has logged more than 1,295,000 career miles with no incidents.

Cheshire Medical Center in Keene hired Anna Blanc to the department of family medicine. Blanc is a board-certified physician assistant. She has a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Franklin Pierce University in West Lebanon.

Econosave Automobile Leasing & Rentals has signed on as a U-Haul dealer to serve Plaistow and will offer U-Haul trucks, trailers, moving supplies and in-store pick-up for boxes.

Prolman Realty in Nashua was selected by Columbia USA to sell 62 Columbia Drive in the Bonn Terrain Industrial Park in Amherst. The 15,200-square-foot building includes 2,400 square feet of office space and 12,800 square feet of lab, clean room and warehouse space.

The Community College System of NH honored Paul J. Holloway with the Walter R. Peterson Award for Education and Public Service. Holloway is known as a philanthropic leader in the business and education sectors statewide, along with his wife Anna Grace. The Peterson Award recognizes individuals who reflect the late Governor’s values, his legacy of public service and commitment to higher education.

The NH Liquor Commission is trying to raise $200,000 for Best Buddies NH by raffling bottles of bourbon and whiskey. This year’s raffle is limited to 2,000 tickets. The prize package includes Pappy Van Winkle’s 10-year, 12-year, 15-year, 20-year and 23-year bourbons, and the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection.
