In the Spotlight: Pentucket Bank appointed Robert Glosner as director of information technology. Glosner has more than 30 years of IT experience, most recently with the U.S. Air Force. 

Sara Wormald is now the bank's business banking manager, a new position. She joined the team in March with more than 17 years of retail and operational banking experience. 

The bank also hired Heather Harrell in March as a full-time training officer.  Pentucket Bank has six full-service offices; four in Massachusetts and NH branches in Hampstead and Salem. (Pictured left to right, Robert Glosner, Sara Wormald and Heather Harrell.)

Pannos Marketing in Manchester hired bank marketing veteran, Vickie Routhier, as the agency's senior vice president, client services and strategy. Routhier has 24 years of marketing and management experience, 17 of which were in retail banking and bank marketing. Most recently, she was with Northway Bank in Portsmouth, and prior to that, Bank of New Hampshire where she oversaw a 24-branch retail banking network with more than 130 employees and led the rebranding of the 181-year-old community bank.

Kathleen Doeg joined Meredith Village Savings Bank as vice president of business development and small business lending. Doeg was previously business banking officer for Citizen’s Bank in Providence, RI.

Greater Seacoast Community Health hired Dr. Danette Colella, who will divide her time between Families First Health and Support Center in Portsmouth and Lilac City Pediatrics in Rochester. A pediatrician for t20 years, Colella has experience in general pediatrics and adolescent medicine. Her interests include preventive medicine and continuity of care from birth to young adulthood.

The NH Liquor Commission is reviving its “No Taxation on our Libations” (liquorandwineoutlets.com/notax) sale and offering discounts up to 13% off purchases. Maine customers will receive an 11% discount, Vermont 12% and Massachusetts, NH and all other states will be eligible for the 13% discount. NHLC offered a similar promotion last summer and more than 43,100 customers from 46 states participated.

Waypoint in Manchester appointed Melissa Biron, senior manager of Nathan Wechsler & Company in Concord to its board of trustees. Biron, a CPA, joined Nathan Wechsler in 2007 where she specializes in non-profits and manufacturing. Her professional affiliations include American Institute of CPAs, NH Society of CPAs, and Leadership Greater Concord.

Manchester-Boston Regional Airport selected Luis Elguezabal to become the new assistant airport director of properties and contract management. He replaces David Bush who retired from the position after 24 years at the airport.

James Prieto, director of real estate at Granite Commercial Real Estate in Nashua was recently appointed as the NH Government Relations Chair of the International Council of Shopping Centers. He will lobby on issues critical to the retail and shopping center industry at the national, state and local levels.

Shaheen & Gordon, P.A. hired attorney James J. Armillay Jr. as a member of the litigation practice group. Armillay was most recently a clerk with Judge Thomas I. Vanaskie of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and also clerked with Judge James A. Gibbons for the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas for Lackawanna County. He will work in the firm’s Nashua office.

Maine Cernota & Rardin, an intellectual property law firm based in Nashua, is affiliating with Attorney Walter Dawson, formerly of Pearson & Pearson in Lowell, Massachusetts. For 24 years, Dawson has served as a patent and trademark attorney for Pearson & Pearson. Previous to that, he was a member of the design team that developed the Apollo Spacecraft Guidance Computers and the Trident Missile Guidance System Computers at Raytheon Company and was a principal engineer and patent attorney for Raytheon Company.

VERC Enterprises, a convenience store and Mobil/Gulf gasoline operator with locations throughout Eastern and Central Massachusetts and NH, added three locations to date in 2019, bringing the total number of stores under the VERC banner to 31. Their latest locations are in Pembroke, MA, Westminster, MA and Salem, NH.
