Orion Awards

Orion Entrance Control in Laconia received three awards for its Secure DoorGuard tailgate detection system. The product was a winner of the 2019 Security Sales and Integration Most Valuable Product Award, a Secure Campus Platinum Award from Campus Security & Life Safety magazine and a 2019 platinum winner of a Govies award from Security Today magazine. The system uses a sensor to determine when someone is attempting to gain entry through a secured access point after a visitor or employee swipes their access card.

Brianna Ham, an environmental health and safety consultant at RPF Environmental in Northwood, earned the council-certified microbial investigator designation by the American Council for Accredited Certification.

Meredith Village Savings Bank promoted Michele Masters to assistant VP, mortgage operations officer, to oversee residential mortgage operations including processing, closing, construction and secondary markets.

Coldwell Banker Linwood Real Estate added Stuart Hotchkiss to its sales force in Littleton. He moved to the North Country in 2003, founded Hotchkiss Construction Services, then retired in 2017 and moved to real estate sales.

Newburyport Bank made a $1,000 donation in support of the Chase Home for Children’s 5th Annual Wine and Chocolate Tasting Event. The Chase Home for Children was founded in 1877 as an orphanage for young children in Portsmouth.  Today, they work with at-risk youth, helping them develop coping mechanisms and skills they will need as adults.

Senet, Inc., a provider of cloud-based software and services platforms in Portsmouth, named Mark Ewen executive vice president of sales. Ewen has more than 20 years of experience within the Internet of Things ecosystem.

Charter Trust Company promoted Maureen Kimball to senior vice president and wealth manager. She joined the firm in 2016 as vice president and wealth advisor.

Prolman Realty, Inc. represented the seller in the sale of the Merrimack Commons Shopping Center located at 515 Daniel Webster Highway to GTONH, an entity owned by Developer Dick Anagnost. The 86,000-square-foot retail center, on 13 acres, is anchored by Tractor Supply, Dollar Tree, FitLab and Jade Dragon. According to the Hillsborough County Registry of Deeds, the selling price was $3,960,000.

Bank of America, which has 350 employees at 26 locations in NH, was named to the “100 Best Companies to Work For” list by Fortune magazine. The bank received this award through an anonymous evaluation by its employees on more than 60 elements of workplace culture, including trust in managers, compensation, fairness, and overall fulfillment.

Tinkham Realty, Inc. represented the seller in the sale of a 4,850-square-oot office condo at 75 Gilcreast Rd, (Londonderry Square Office Park) to LJL Enterprises of Londonderry. The sales price according to the Rockingham County Registry of Deeds was $335,000.

LRGHealthcare, at its annual meeting, presented the 2019 Rhoda C. Ladd Award to retired Laconia Fire Chief Ken Erickson who retired as Laconia’s fire chief in 2018 after 17 years with the department. The Sally Proctor Award for 2019 honored Franklin’s retired fire chief, Kevin LaChapelle, who started the department in 1988 and spent the last seven years of his career as fire chief and emergency management director.

Ledyard National Bank promoted Paul St. Martin to chief technology officer. St. Martin joined Ledyard in January 2017 as VP information technology officer and helped improve systems and efficiencies.

Stebbins Commercial Properties LLC. facilitated the sale of the 8,709-square-foot building at 555 Valley Street in Manchester from The Packard Building, Inc. of Manchester to Cote Electric of Manchester. According to the Registry of Deeds the sale price was $635,000. Stebbins also facilitated the sale of a 10,500-square-foot building (formerly Purely Wood Furniture Store) at 293 Elm Street, Manchester. Stebbins represented the Seller, 293 Elm Street and assisted the Buyer in this transaction. According to the Registry of Deeds the sale price was $405,000. Stebbins represented the seller in the sale of a 7,662-square-foot Condo at 22 Manchester Road in Derry from Flying Crushers of Manchester to Katerina Kubec of Derry. According to the Registry of Deeds the sale price was $529,000.
