Catherine Provencher and Timothy Riley join the CMC board.


In the Spotlight: Catholic Medical Center, a member of GraniteOne Health, has appointed two new members to its board of trustees: Catherine A. Provencher, CPA, is vice chancellor for financial affairs and treasurer for the University System of New Hampshire and serves as the System’s CFO. Timothy M. Riley is a partner of Harbor Group and is the firm's chief executive officer, director of financial planning and chief compliance officer.

The University of New Hampshire in Durham has risen to the top echelon of research universities in the country as designated by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education and is now among the 130 doctoral-granting universities in the “very high research activity,” or R1, category.

Nathan Sandmaier, P.E. of Superior Controls in Seabrook recently earned his professional engineer’s license in the state and joins Taggart McCormick, P.E., Anthony Whitesell, P.E., and Gary Powell, P.E., to become the fourth licensed professional engineer at Superior Controls.

JSA Inc., an architecture, planning and interior design firm, worked with Epoch Senior Living and National Development to design its newest senior living campuses in Massachusetts; Bridges by Epoch in Sudbury, a 43,088-square-foot structure and Bridges by Epoch in Andover, at 55,450-square-feet.

Great Bay Community College in Portsmouth is offering a new Community Leadership and Nonprofit Management Program through its Business and Training Center. The program is designed to give nonprofit sector leaders the skills they need to do their jobs better.

Amy LaBelle, co-owner and winemaker at LaBelle Winery, has partnered with Tim Clapper, head brewer at 603 Brewery in Londonderry to create 603 Sangria Sour Ale. Kettle sour beers are fermented at a lower pH than most other beer types, giving them a distinctly sour flavor.

The City of Rochester named Vicky Poland the new manager of the Rochester Farmers Market. Along with her new role, she will continue as entertainment manager for the Deerfield, Belknap and Stratham Fairs, as well as the Hampton Seafood Festival and Wings and Wheels Rochester.

Cirtronics, a contract manufacturing firm in Milford, appointed Dave Patterson as president and CEO. Founder and former CEO Gerardine Ferlins will remain with the company as chief governance officer and chair of the board of directors.

Julie Bushaw has been promoted to retail sales and service staff development officer for Merrimack County Savings Bank. Bushaw joined the Merrimack in 2011 with 16 years of banking experience in branch operations, management and sales.

Lakes Media in Gilford, owner of 101.5 WEEI Sports Radio and WLKZ 104.9 The Hawk, promoted Adam Farrell to VP of sales. Farrell will become a partner and stockholder.

Monadnock United Way in Keene hired Paige Martin as program manager for Impact Monadnock. Meanwhile, Jill Morgan has been promoted to senior director of impact. Nikki Sauber was promoted to impact and investments manager and Kate Cote has been promoted to volunteer engagement specialist.

Bottomline Technologies in Portsmouth, a provider of financial technology, and U.S.-based financial services company UMB Financial Corporation have formed a partnership that will allow UMB to offer Bottomline’s Paymode-X with Visa Payables Solutions to its U.S. commercial customers.
