In the Spotlight: Lakes Region Community College has launched a hotel and restaurant studies degree and certificate program to help meet the growing workforce needs. The program will begin Fall 2019 and combines parts of two existing programs. The move follows an in-depth consultation with hospitality and tourism industry leaders and employers in NH and the region.

Northeast Credit Union promoted Chris Saucier from egional manager to assistant VP of mortgages. Saucier will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the mortgage department and developing new mortgage products and services.

The American Independence Museum in Exeter has selected Civic Engagement as its 2019 theme. In addition to developing related exhibitions and events throughout the year, the museum will partner with organizations and entities whose mission reflects the theme.

RPF Environmental in Northwood hired Cameron Youngclaus. He will be working as an EH&S Consultant providing industrial hygiene, safety, indoor air quality, and asbestos testing and consulting services throughout New England.

The Dalton Gang shooting facility, situated on 70 acres in Dalton, was recently sold to Chris Cyr, partner and CEO of neighboring Team O’Neil Rally School. The property was purchased from long-time owners and operators Don and Nancy Mooney. Moving forward, the facility will have a greater focus on firearms training.
