In the Spotlight: During the recent spring break, St. Mary’s Bank in Manchester hosted Scouts from Amherst, Contoocook, Epping, North Hampton, Hooksett, Northwood and Derry to help them earn the “Personal Management” merit badge. The Scouts learned about managing their time and their money, and to think about the future. They also took a walking tour just up the street to America’s Credit Union Museum.

ArgenTech Solutions in Newmarket recently received the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Pro Patria Award, presented annually to employers who have demonstrated exceptional support to their guard and reserve employees. ArgenTech is also a finalist for the Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award for the second year in a row.

Three Coldwell Banker LinWood Real Estate agents have been honored for their production during 2017. John Chamberlain, of the Lincoln office, was named to International President’s Elite, which is awarded to the top 2 percent of sales associates worldwide in the Coldwell Banker system. Heidi Boedecker, of the Franconia office, was named to International President’s Circle, which is awarded to the top 5 percent. Ruth Hamilton, of the Littleton office, and Bob Matheson, of the Lincoln office, were named to International Diamond Society, which is awarded to the top 10 percent. Arlie Vandenbroek and Cindy Sparks, of the Synergy Real Estate Team in Littleton, were named to International Diamond Society Team, which is awarded to the top 35 percent of all sales associates (1-3-person teams) in the U.S. and Canada. Ken Bolland, of the Franconia office, and Kris Covey, of the Lincoln office, were named to International Sterling Society, which is awarded to the top 15 percent.

Savings Bank of Walpole, as a part of its family-friendly workplace program, has added a lactation room at the Marlboro Street branch. Additionally, new mothers will receive a new baby book package through Impact Monadnock Business Ambassadors.

Tighe & Bond, an engineering and environmental consulting, with an office in Portsmouth, appointed Becky Bozadjian director of marketing and communications. Bozadjian, who is based in the firm’s Westwood, Mass. office, has more than 25 years of experience as a senior management and marketing professional in the architecture, engineering and construction industry.

Ari Osman, managing partner of Staff Hunters – Bedford, A Raven Ridge Company, was elected to the Board of The Belknap House. Belknap House's mission is to provide families in Belknap County a safe shelter, especially in cold weather months, help families become self-sufficient and independent.

Liberty Mutual awarded two scholarships to Exeter students at the Seacoast School of Technology. CFO of IT Carolyn Bellisio presented the $1,000 awards. Ryan Bloomberg will be attending Keene State College this fall. Anthony Tam will be attending the University of New Hampshire in Durham.

The Northeast Resource Recovery Association, New Hampshire the Beautiful and NRRA’s School Recycling Club presented 11 awards at the 9th Annual School Recycling Conference on May 22 in Manchester. The awards were as follows: Special Recognition Award – Keynote Musical Skit Allenstown Elementary Drama Club; the Beautiful School Recycling Innovation Award to Steve Watson, Inter-Lakes Elementary School, Meredith; Team Earth Best of the Best Gold Award and Best Earth Day Event to Milford Middle School; Outstanding Work Study Student Recycler to Gabriel Clark, Hollis Brookline High School; Outstanding Community Involvement to Wendy Berkeley, Farm to School Program, Somersworth; Facilities Staff Recycler of the Year to Tim Phillips, White Mountains Regional High School, Whitefield; School Recycler of the Year to Mike McGuinness, Oyster River Middle School, Durham; Teacher Recycler of the Year to Chelsea Petereit, Lancaster Elementary School, Lancaster, and two Special Recognition Awards, the first for banning plastics at royal properties to Queen Elizabeth II, London, UK and a the second to the Team Trash Girl Initiative by Nadia Sparkes, Hellesdon High School, Norwich, UK.
