This Week’s Spotlight: Ledyard National Bank in Hanover hired Michael Urnezis as senior VP, senior consumer and mortgage lending officer. Urnezis has over two decades of financial services experience, most recently as VP, regional mortgage lending at Alpine Bank and Trust Company in Illinois. He co-founded Vision Mortgage & Insurance Group in 1999 with offices in the Midwest and Pacific Northwest, which he managed until 2012 when Northwest Bank acquired the group.

Cheshire’s Center for Dermatology in Keene, a Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health affiliate, hired Katherina K. Basic as a dermatologist.

Balasamo previously worked in the psychiatric crisis department at Lahey Health Behavioral Services in Massachusetts, while McGerigle previously worked as an in-home clinical therapist at the Justice Resource Institute, also in Massachusetts.

Merchants Fleet Management in Hooksett hired Mike Gavio as regional sales manager for the northeast. Gavio has 19 years of sales experience in the fleet and advertising industries, most recently workings for six years at ARI Global Fleet Management Services.

The employees of NH Mutual Bancorp (NHMB) and its subsidiaries pledged $2,374 to American Red Cross NH and Vermont Region.

Wayne Grenier of Ossipee raised over $2,500 at his seventh annual golf tournament to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association, Massachusetts/NH Chapter. Forty-one golfers played in the tournament, which was held at Indian Mound Golf Club in Ossipee.

Radar Marketing Group in Amherst launched its Design for Good competition, which offers $5,000 in website design and development services for a NH nonprofit. Past recipients include the Grapevine Family & Community Resource Center in Antrim, Harrisville Children’s Center, Miracles in Motion in Keene, Monadnock Conservancy in Keene and the River Center in Peterborough.
