This Week’s Spotlight: Easter Seals NH in Manchester appointed Jeannette Davila as chief development officer. Davila, an Easter Seals NH board member from 2002 to 2008, worked in the NH banking industry for several years. As chief development officer, she will oversee all development and communication for Easter Seals affiliates in NH, Maine, Vermont and Rhode Island, including efforts to increase awareness and fundraising for Easter Seals programs and services.

Bernstein Shur in Manchester hired Hilary Cessna as an attorney in its litigation & dispute resolution practice group. A recent graduate of University of NH School of Law in Concord, Cessna interned for both Landya McCafferty of the US District Court for the District of NH and the National Education Association of NH, both in Concord.

Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene hired Kristin Dunnell to its family medicine department and Jocelyn Ferland to its orthopaedic department. Dunnell previously worked as a physician assistant at Immediate Care of Southern NH in Nashua, while Ferland recently finished a graduate program at the Manchester campus of Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Concord Hospital hired Peter C. Romanello and Thomas M. Jusczak to work at its new chiropractic services department. The practice will offer non-surgical treatment for injuries resulting from trauma, inflammation, arthritis, degeneration or deformity, and treatment for spinal misalignments, subluxations and biomechanical dysfunctions.

Eaton & Berube Insurance Agency, LLC in Nashua hired Bill Quinn as an account executive. Quinn, who has more than 25 years of insurance experience, previously worked as an insurance broker with a regional agency and managed large commercial accounts.

Helping Hands Outreach Center in Manchester, a faith-based community service agency, received $10,000 from the Eastern Bank Charitable Foundation. The grant is part of Eastern Bank’s annual Targeted Grants program, which provides more than $1.5 million in grants each year to community-based organizations in Massachusetts and NH.

Andrew Luce, an associate at Mason + Rich PA in Concord, was appointed as VP of the board of directors for Red River Theatres, also in Concord. Luce was previously treasurer of the board and chair of the finance committee. He has worked at Mason + Rich since 2006.

Merrimack County Savings Bank in Concord hired Jake Potter as a mortgage loan originator. Potter has 16 years of banking experience, most recently working as branch manager at Lake Sunapee Bank’s office in Hillsborough.

Hope for New Hampshire Recovery in Manchester received $4,000 from Members First Credit Union in Bedford through a matching grant from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston (FHLBB).

New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp (NHMB) granted $2,510 to Lakes Region Child Care Services (LRCCS) in Laconia. The money will help fund a playground expansion project at the organization’s Early Learning Center in Belmont.

NEMO Equipment, Inc. in Dover, an outdoor gear manufacturer, hired five new employees: Zack Kamen as product development manager, Chris Reynolds as product line manager, Joe Bartlett as demand planner, Sam Strong as graphic designer and Becca Cole as customer service and operations assistant. NEMO received a 2016 Gear of the Year Award from National Geographic Adventure for its Concerto sleeping bag.

Primrose School at Bedford Hills, a private preschool, raised $3,500 for the Primrose Children’s Foundation through its annual Spring Fling fundraiser. The money was donated to Save the Children, an international children’s charity and partner of Primrose Schools.

Superior Controls Inc. in Seabrook, a control system integrator of industrial automation and IT solutions, hired Kenneth Hackett as business development manager. For 25 years, Hackett worked in the sales department at Horizon Solutions in Manchester, an automation distributor.

Valley Regional Healthcare in Claremont joined the NH provider network of Minuteman Health, a nonprofit HMO. Valley Regional Healthcare is comprised of Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont, a 25-bed general and surgical hospital, and primary care clinics in Claremont and Newport. Minuteman Health’s network includes over 11,300 hospitals, physicians and specialists in Massachusetts and NH.
