Franklin Savings Bank in Boscawen promoted two employees and hired a third: Martha Lefebvre was promoted from to VP, CFO and treasurer; Jonathan Winters was promoted to assistant VP, risk management, bank secrecy act, security and information officer from his position as senior security specialist; and Debra Davis Thum, former VP, commercial loan officer at Sugar River Bank in Newport, was hired as VP, commercial loan officer to operate out of Franklin's Bedford lending office.

Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce in Amherst appointed Tracy Hutchins as executive director. Previously, was executive director at both the Milford and Wilton Main Street programs.

The Music Hall in Portsmouth elected a new treasurer and two new members to its board of trustees: Ed Garside, CFO and treasurer, at Optima Bank and Trust in Portsmouth, treasurer; Timothy Hepburn, principal at Baker Newman Noyes in Portsmouth, member; and Monica Ness, member.

The NH Lodging and Restaurant Association awarded two awards to the Common Man Family of Restaurants in Ashland. One award was given to Jennifer Tower, manager of The Common Man Inn & Spa in Plymouth, for Innkeeper of the Year and the Restaurant Neighbor Award to the company by the National Restaurant Association in Washington, DC.
