New England College in Henniker awarded Andy Crews, president and CEO of AutoFair in Manchester, an honorary doctorate of humane letters as part of its Founders Day celebration.

The National Academy of Engineering awarded the Bernard M. Gordon Prize for Innovation in Engineering and Technology Education to John Collier, Robert Graves, Joseph Helble, and Charles Hutchinson, all of whom are faculty at Dartmouth College in Hanover.

Dartmouth College in Hanover hired Carolyn Denver, former dean of the College of Arts and Science at Vanderbilt University in Tennessee, as provost.

Leddy Group in Bedford partnered with the NH Center for Nonprofits in Concord to provide human resources and organizational development programs to support the professional development of nonprofit employees.

The NH Land and Community Heritage Investment Program in Concord donated $120,000 to the Francestown Land Trust (FLT) in Francestown and the Piscataquog Land Conservancy in New Boston to support the Brennan Brook conservation area. It also donated another $30,000 to the FLT for its Shattuck-Dinsmore conservation project.
