New Hampshire's first paint and wine bar opened in downtown Manchester on Hanover Street. The new establishment is called Muse Paintbar. No experience is necessary; participants follow the artist's instructions and create their own masterpieces.

Stebbins Commercial Properties Inc. in Manchester sold 5,000 square feet of office and warehouse space at 542 Harvey Road in Manchester to Continental Business Systems in Manchester for $345,000.

Clover Creative Group in Meredith, which offers logo design, business collateral, and print advertisements, joined the Meredith Chamber of Commerce, also located in Meredith.

New England College in Henniker is adding a new business facility, with construction scheduled to begin in the fall. It hired Boston-based architectural firm Sasaki Associates, Inc. to lead the design of the facility.

NH Auto Dealers Association Worker's Compensation Trust in Concord received a Leadership Award for promoting drug-free workplaces from the Greater Rockingham County Regional Network and Allies in Substance Abuse Prevention in Portsmouth.

The Environmental Protection Agency selected the Gorham Wastewater Treatment Plant in Gorham for a 2012 Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant Excellence Award. The plant's New England Office was recognized for work in operating and maintaining the wastewater treatment plant.

The New Hampshire High Tech Council in Manchester opened the application process for its annual Entrepreneur of the Year award. The celebration will be held May 6 at the Radisson Hotel/Center of New Hampshire in Manchester. This celebration marks the 25th anniversary of the EOY.

Glenn Welch, the founder and owner of Welch Manufacturing Technologies in Laconia, developed BITEHARDER Carbide Runner Sharpening Tool for the snowmobile community. This 100 percent U.S.A.-made tool offers the flexibility of sharpening their runners even when installed on the sled.

The New England Women's Leadership Institute of Mass. announced registration for the sixth annual Women's Leadership Summit is available. The event will be held June 7 at the campus of Nashua Community College in Nashua.

The League of Conversation in Washington, D.C. recognized U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen for her record of protecting public health and the environment. Shaheen received a 100 percent rating on the National Environmental Scorecard for her votes in the 112th Congress. She has also been a leading voice on energy issues.

The Rotary Club of Merrimack inducted three members into Rotary International: Bob Best, Bob Freed, and Brian Snow. Best is a healthcare attorney practicing in Concord with experience in medical research and healthcare administration. Freed works in Milford in the transportation, brokerage, and freight consulting business. Snow is a lawyer and former Justice in the Merrimack and Goffstown District Courts

Child and Family Services of New Hampshire in Manchester hired Ken Sheldon, the NH state president, SVP, and senior client manager of Bank of America, to its board of trustees. The Upper Valley Regional Board elected Debbie Carter and Marcia Davis to its board. The Manchester Regional Board elected Randy Condo and Anna Peterson to its board as well.

Cirtronic Corporation of Milford added Gregg Mozdy to the management team. Mozdy joined the privately held EMS firm as VP of business development with an extensive background in sales, marketing, and management.

Upton & Hatfield, LLP in Concord added Marilyn Billings McNamara as a partner in the law firm. McNamara joined the firm in 2009. She has over 35 years of experience in domestic relations.

Monadnock Family Services, a nonprofit agency that treats individuals with mental health issues, named Dr. Marianne Marsh as the agency's new chief medical officer. Dr. Marsh brings over 25 years of experience in psychiatry and most recently worked as a staff psychiatrist at West Central Behavioral Health in Claremont.
