Citizens Bank and WMUR-TV in Manchester named Ted McGreer as March's Heart of Your City for his outstanding commitment to the city of Keene. McGreer is the owner of Ted's Shoe and Sport in Keene and serves as VP of the board of Pathways for Keene. He also collects used shoes at his store for the Soles to Soles program and donates store proceeds to charities like Monadnock Developmental Services and Easter Seals NH. Heart of Your City is a year-long partnership between Citizens Bank and WMUR-TV that profiles people who are making a positive impact in NH's thirteen cities.

Wayne Geher was elected to serve a second five-year term on the NH Board of Accountancy, based in Concord. Geher is the director of the forensic litigation and the governmental accounting divisions at Nathan Wechsler & Company, P.A. in Concord.

Bottomline Technologies, a payment and document automation company in Portsmouth, formed a partnership with Intuit, Inc., a financial management provider based in Calif. Bottomline Technologies will acquire the commercial banking business of Intuit's financial services segment.

The financial management company Next Level Now, Inc. in Portsmouth joined the abi Innovation Hub in Manchester. The relationship is part of Next Level's plan to expand their presence in the Manchester and Merrimack Valley markets.

MESH Interactive Agency, a boutique marketing firm specializing in web development and social media engagement headquartered in Nashua, opened an office in New York City. Operations of the new office will be handled through the Nashua location.

St. Mary's Bank named David P. Smith as financial consultant in its financial services division. Smith previsously served as a financial advisor for People's Securities, Inc. in Manchester. St. Mary's Bank is headquartered in Manchester and has branches in Hudson, Londonderry, Milford and Nashua.

The Northbridge Companies in Burlington, Mass. was named as the new management company of Ledgewood Bay Assisted Living in Milford. The community was previously managed by Brookdale Senior Living, based in Tenn. Northbridge plans to introduce several new programs to Ledgewood, including its Eat Fresh/Eat Local dining initiative, its STAR Program (Sharp Thinking Active Residents) and innovative memory care for members with Alzheimer's disease and other memory impairments. Ledgewood Bay opened in 2007 and has 94 senior apartments.

The Monadnock Humane Society in Swanzey named Carol S. Laughner director of development. Laughner will be responsible for the fundraising and development efforts of the organization and will take part in the direction of marketing initiatives. She previously served as the director of development and marketing for the Sharon Arts Center in Peterborough and as corporate marketing director of Helmers Publishing, Inc. in Dublin.

Serenity Place, a nonprofit support services center in Manchester, hired Sue Bourn as controller and human resources officer. Bourn has previously served at the Scleroderma Foundation in Danvers, Mass.

TD Bank named Matthew Pinkos store manager and an assistant VP of its Londonderry branch. Prior to joining the bank, Pinkos served as branch manager at Citizens Bank in Salem.

Jewett Construction Company, Inc., based in Raymond, celebrates 40 years of business in the state. The company was founded in 1972 and is now in its second generation of family ownership. Since the company began, it has expanded to three divisions, Jewett Construction Company, Inc., Jewett Automotive Design & Construction, and Jewett Metal Buildings & Steel Erectors, and has clients across New England.

The University of NH Whittemore School of Business and Economics in Durham announced that it will offer an online MBA in the fall of 2012. It is the only online MBA program in NH accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The online courses will be taught by UNH faculty and will follow a five-term schedule that will allow students to complete their MBA in two years.
