Teatotaller Expanding to Concord

Teatotaller Cafe on High Street in Somersworth plans to open a location in downtown Concord. According to a statement, Teatotaller is working with crowd-investment company MainVest, to find investors to fund part of the expansion. Teatotaller raised more than $10,000 in the first 24 hours. The goal is to raise $45,000.

“It’s pretty incredible how far Teatotaller has come,” said owner Emmett Soldati. “Eight years ago, it took me almost two months to raise the $8,000 on Kickstarter to get things going. This time around, with barely an announcement, we’re at one quarter of our project goal after the first day. I think that speaks to how strongly folks feel about Teatotaller — that we’ve proven a unique and colorful business like ours can be successful and profitable in New Hampshire.”

As a popular community hub, Teatotaller has always been supported by friends and fans and become known for its inspired fare, extravagance, and sober all-ages celebrations. Interested supporters are encouraged to check out their website and watch the promotional video to learn more about the opportunity and stay up to date on the campaign and renovations.

Soldati says they have a location, which will be announced first to the investors on MainVest.
