Montagne Powers, a strategic communications firm in Manchester, has introduced a new Executive Communications Offering (“ECO”) aimed at helping CEOs and senior leaders strengthen their personal brands while guiding organizations through today’s complex communications environment.
The need for such services has never been greater. Research by the Brunswick Group found that financial readers are nine times more likely to trust a CEO who uses social media, while 80% of employees prefer working for a leader who is active online. Gallup’s 2025 workplace report further highlighted a 10-year low in employee engagement, underscoring the
importance of strong, consistent communication both in and out of the workplace.
“Today CEOs are really thought of as an extension of the brands where they work, and they’re often looked to for leadership and commentary on some of the most emotionally charged issues of our day,” says E.J. Powers, a partner at Montagne Powers. “We help them navigate questions they may have and help them communicate with clarity and purpose.”
Montagne Powers’ ECO provides a structured process beginning with understanding an executive’s goals, examining peers and role models, and identifying target audiences. From there, the firm develops tailored strategies that may include boosting LinkedIn visibility, writing op-eds, securing speaking engagements, or positioning leaders for awards and board opportunities. The goal, Powers says, is to align executive voices with both corporate objectives and personal passions, thus elevating them as thought leaders in their fields.
The ECO covers a range of services, including internal communications to inspire and engage employees, philanthropy and community involvement strategies, crisis planning, and media and speaker training. This approach reflects the dual role of today’s executives as both brand figureheads and workplace leaders, says Scott Tranchemontagne, a partner at Montagne Powers.
“In today’s culture and business environment, executives need more than expertise—they need a clear, confident voice that inspires action,” Tranchemontagne says. “ECO combines brand-building and thought leadership with hands-on media training, giving leaders the skills and confidence to deliver their message effectively in any setting.”
As Powers says, “[Leaders] are the figureheads, and their brand is their business. We want to help them succeed.” For more information, visit montagnepowers.com.
