Snowy Owl Inn Hires Head Chef

At the same time that the Snowy Owl Inn in Waterville Valley announced the reopening of its dining room just in time for ski season, it has also announced the hiring of a new chef.

General Manager Steve Hodges says George Dascoulias will serve as head chef and food and beverage manager for the inn. Dascoulias is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, and he has been the chef andowner of Mr. D's Restaurant in Franklin, NH for 33 years. He has also worked at the Pleasant Valley Country Club in Sutton, Massachusetts, the Sheraton Lincoln in Worcester, Massachusetts and the Key Bridge Marriot just outside Washington D.C.

When asked about his plans for the Snowy Owl Inn's kitchen, Dascoulias said, "I'm excited to bring quality, affordable food service back to the inn's dining room."

The Snowy Owl Inn is located in the heart of Waterville Valley Resort next to town square and has been a favorite destination for country inn lovers since the early 1970s.
