Seth Warren announced his resignation as president and CEO of LRGHealthcare, which consists of Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia, Franklin Regional Hospital and other affiliated medical providers. He cites personal reasons. Warren joined the organization as president and CEO in October of 2015. His last day will be April 15.

“Though the timing is undoubtedly inopportune given our ongoing transformation, we as a Board have complete confidence in the success of LRGHealthcare and are committed to moving forward,” says Scott Clarenbach, chair of LRGHealthcare.

The organization conducted a community health needs assessment in 2014, adopted an implementation plan in 2015 and recently concluded a comprehensive Strategic Plan. LRGHealthcare has been working with Prism Healthcare Partners, LTD in Illinois since the beginning of the year to review the organization’s operations and processes for better cost efficiency. The spring the health care organization adjusted the skill mix of the workforce to meet the changing needs for services. It cut 22 positions, added new positions and at the time was recruiting to fill more than 60 positions.

“LRGH and Prism have identified and are in the process of implementing $15 to $21 million in annualized benefits,” says Ramona Lacy, managing partner at Prism Healthcare Partners. “These initiatives include clinical, physician operations, strategy, workforce and non-labor costs and revenue enhancements.  This is good news and shows that the organization, although in a turnaround, has the opportunity to be profitable and be a sustainable organization supporting the community.”
