Now that the kids are back in school, Leslie Sturgeon, CEO of Women Inspiring Women, says she wants to celebrate NH moms by bringing them together for the first ever Savvy Moms Forum! Scheduled for Thursday, September 26. Sturgeon noted in a press release the event will help stimulate minds and nurture souls while providing tips for being a better mom. Those tips include: identifing dreams, jumpstarting goals, making a mom's needs a priority, enhancing relationships and getting better organized.
Guest speakers include Celebrity Chef Nicole Barreira of T-BONES/Cactus Jack’s, Kiva Leather of Jai Institute for Parenting, Jamie Willett and Ann Fafard of Moms Growing with Goals Magazine, Laura Blundo of Relationship Awakenings, professional development coach Lisa Schermerhorn and busy mom, leader and volunteer Rebecca Bryant.
Women Inspiring Women is an organization for women in New Hampshire, which has a community of women who come together monthly for personal development, business resources, and networking. Sturgeon, the organization's founder, said, “I see so many women working really hard to care for their families, volunteering, running businesses, managing a home and in career positions – I wanted to celebrate them and all that they do. Thus the reason I created the Savvy Moms Forum.”
The event will be held at SERESC Conference and Training Center at 29 Commerce Drive in Bedford. It will begin with exhibitors and socializing at 9 a.m. and concludes at 1 p.m..
