Riverside Room to Open in Manchester Millyard

Published Monday Oct 28, 2013

The Riverside Room, a new event space in the Waumbec Building of Manchester’s historic millyard, is slated to open in November and has begun booking events. The space features state-of-the-art sound, lighting and presentation equipment, and is an exciting new venue to host weddings, business and social gatherings and meetings for up to 100 people. Located in renovated mill space facing the Merrimack River, the venue provides the charm of the historic building with modern elegance and functionality. The Riverside Room is owned and operated by Keri Laman, owner of Tidewater Catering Group and Waterworks Café, both also located in the Amoskeag Millyard. The event space features full bar service, diverse menu options and customized event planning services through Tidewater Catering Group.

Laman established the Riverside Room to answer a demand for event space in the greater Manchester area. “Having been catering for many years, I was well aware of the lack of venue options” said Laman. “People are looking for choices when planning their business or social gatherings, so I am looking to introduce a unique alternative to the mix.”

Private events are now being booked. For more information, visit www.RiversideRoomNH.com or call 603-668-6111.
