This growing IT consultancy firm not only helps some of the biggest names in business make sure their technology systems operate more efficiently, but that those systems exceed their regulatory obligations, particularly in the pharmaceutical, biotech and government sectors.

Major pharmaceutical clients, including Pfizer, Genzyme and Merck, account for 30 percent of the firm's revenue, but RevereIT also works with Comcast and Citizens Bank.

The firm, which also provides IT staffing augmentation services, application development and pharmaceutical validation services, is now expanding into the government sector and recently opened an office in Virginia with about 10 employees to handle the increasing number of federal contracts. While Director Andy Gupta stresses the firm's core competency is pharmaceuticals, RevereIT is targeting government food, drug and health departments. RevereIT spent the past year meeting eligibility requirements for federal contracts, and plans to bid on them starting in 2013.

Gupta says RevereIT is also preparing to service the growing mobile technology market. With new clients on board and earning repeat business from 98 percent of existing clients, RevereIT expects to keep growing. The firm recently expanded its headquarters in Nashua and Gupta expects sales to exceed $10 million this year and to increase his workforce to 150 by the end of the year. My company will enjoy the same growth rate it has been, but we don't want to grow too fast. I want to maintain a balance between quality and quantity, he says.
