Pot is So Hot in Canada That Firms Are Importing Workers

A lack of qualified local labor forced a Canadian firm to dispose of almost 14,000 cannabis plants after they weren’t harvested in time, costing it nearly $750,000. Since then, the company has doubled its staff thanks in part to Canada’s Seasonal Agriculture Worker Program.
