Pay and job security are the top two priorities for workers going into 2026, with more than one-third of workers reporting they don’t feel satisfied with their current compensation.

Your Gen Z workers are probably planning to find a new job in the new year. About 18% of workers overall are very likely to look for a new job, and 23% say they are somewhat likely. However, 57% of Gen Z workers reported wanting to switch jobs and 45% of Millennials.

$8 Million

The federal funding awarded by the Northern Border Regional Commission’s Catalyst Fund program, which supports economic development initiatives in rural communities across four states. It will be shared by 15 NH projects including:

  • $500,000 for Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth
    to renovate one of its buildings into workforce housing for contract workers and new hires
  • $1 million to Cottage Hospital in Woodsville to renovate, modernize, and expand three operating rooms
