Nucar NH Donates $100,000 to CASA of NH

NH automotive group Nucar New Hampshire along with the Dagesse family, who founded the Nucar group, donated $100,000 to Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of New Hampshire in support of its work protecting and providing for at-risk NH youth.

The donation twill support the nonprofit's mission to provide a voice for abused and neglected children and youth by empowering a statewide network of trained volunteers to advocate on their behalf so they can thrive in safe, permanent homes. The contribution will specifically help to fund CASA NH's various operational costs, expand its programs, and recruit and train additional advocates throughout the state. CASA NH affected the lives of 1,000 children in the past year.

Born in Colebrook, Nucar Founder Dan Dagesse has strong ties to the community and a continued desire to provide for its residents. He spearheads the family-owned DCD Automotive Group, which includes 19 subsidiaries (including Nucar) and 16 dealerships. Dagesse purchased his first auto dealership in 1974, and, shortly after, purchased a dealership on Rt. 16 in Berlin. That second dealership, known as Berlin City Ford, eventually grew into the Berlin City Auto Group and a portfolio of nine different franchises.
