Nominations Open For Business in Arts Awards

The NH Business Committee for the Arts is accepting nominations for the 35th Annual Business in Arts Awards, which recognize and honor Granite State businesses of all shapes and sizes and an individual business leader for their significant impact on NH's arts and cultural community.

Any NH business that supported the arts in calendar year 2018 is eligible for a Business in the Arts Award.  Support may take the form of sponsorships, grants, volunteer involvement of an executive or other staff member, the provision of in-kind goods and/or professional services, a tie-in that involved the arts in advertising, marketing, or public affairs campaigns, as well as other activities.

The NHBCA will present four awards to winners from each business size category of microenterprise, small, medium, and large. The Leadership Award will be given to one individual business leader to recognize exceptional leadership, vision and commitment in encouraging and developing the partnership between business and the arts.

A panel of judges comprised of representatives from business and the arts communities will review the nominations and select the winners. All companies nominated will be acknowledged at the 35th Annual Business in Arts Awards Gala at which the winners will be announced and presented with a commissioned work of art to commemorate their 2018 support of arts and culture in New Hampshire.

The awards gala will be held on Monday, May 6, 2019 at The Downtown Manchester Hotel at 5:30 p.m. A business, arts organization, or individual may submit a nomination online or download a form at www.nhbca.com, or by contacting the NHBCA. Email tricia@nhbca.com.  Nominations are due on or before February 15, 2019.
