The NH Small Business Development Center and UNH Extension are partnering to host the 2022 Resiliency Academy for Small Businesses & Communities.
The Academy is free and designed for businesses, community leaders and volunteers, economic development professionals, nonprofits, and anyone interested in small business and community resilience.
Session 1 - Introduction to Small Business and Community Resiliency Webinar. What is resiliency? How do businesses and communities become more resilient on their own and together? Essential components for small business and community resilience, such as the importance of networks, innovation, adaptation, inclusion, and the link with quality of life in NH, will be featured. Panelists will share their resiliency stories and the keynote speaker is Tom Raffio, President & CEO of Northeast Delta Dental.
Session 2 - Virtual Small Business Resiliency Plan Development. NH SBDC Regional Directors will introduce small business resiliency planning using SBDC's Resiliency Workbook. Whether you're new to resiliency planning or have a plan that needs updating, this session will help ensure you are covering all key aspects of what a plan should include.
Session 3 - Walking Tours of NH Communities Practicing Resilience. Celebrate resiliency in our communities with a visit to local downtowns. Hear and see how local leaders and volunteers are addressing resiliency in their community. Visit small businesses practicing innovation, hear from organizations working to strengthen networks and see the initiatives that are creating more inclusive communities – all key to resilience.
