New Hampshire was ranked as the #10 state where Americans are most likely to start a new business, according to a new AdvisorSmith study.
Western states accounted for the top 7 states, followed by Florida, and New England states Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
The study considered new businesses with at least one employee. The U.S. has approximately 6 million businesses with at least one employee, and the new creation rate for businesses is roughly 2.3 new businesses per 1,000 population.
