MMA Fighter Opens Hooksett Gym

A mixed martial arts fighter has opened a training facility, T.I.M.S. Strength and Conditioning, in Hooksett.

Owner Tim Caron is known as Tim “The Bear” Caron inside the MMA ring, but even before his days of mixed martial arts, he was helping clients work on their fitness goals through meal plans and personal training sessions. With a background in exercise science, Caron became a personal trainer at Golds Gym before pursuing his own group training sessions in January 2013. He has been a professional mixed martial arts fighter since 2013.

“I’ve used the knowledge from school and years of fighting to create many exercise programs to meet all training levels – from beginning to elite,” he says. “With a little bit of guidance and motivation, you can reach any goal you set for yourself.”

The gym is open six days a week, Monday through Saturday, and offers classes throughout each day. Kickboxing, women’s kick to fit, strength and conditioning and power yoga are among the classes offered. Classes such as event training and mud running are also available for individuals and teams gearing up for events such as Tough Mudder or Spartan Races.
