Merrimack Chamber Announces New Executive Director

Published Monday Aug 17, 2015

The Merrimack Chamber of Commerce has announced its new executive director. The chairman of the board said they had hired Dawn Shepherd, formerly the director of operations for more than 13 years at Go Wireless. Shepard has been a member of the chamber for four years, and has served on the Chamber’s board of directors for four years. She resides in Merrimack.

“Dawn has been an integral part of our chamber for years. It was a natural choice for us to bring her onboard in this capacity. Our short term goals are to increase membership and to offer more robust program opportunities for our members. This Chamber has always been great for networking, it’s time for us to move to the next level of member experience,” said Richard Jean, chair of the board.

Talking about her new position, Shepherd said, “I’m excited about my new role at the Chamber. The Merrimack Chamber of Commerce is here to serve the businesses of the Greater Merrimack region by connecting them to area other businesses, visitors, and residents, supporting and enhancing both our vibrant local economy and our outstanding quality of life. We have great opportunities to bring on more members of the business community.”
