Members First Credit Union Pays It Forward

In celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week, Members First Credit Union, with NH headquarters in Manchester, is paying it forward by reimbursing teachers up to $100 for classroom supplies that were purchased this year.

“School budgets generally run short at the end of the school year and teachers often resort to purchasing classroom supplies with money from their own pockets to provide for their students,” says Bruce Leighton, president and CEO of Members First Credit Union. “To show our gratitude in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, we’ve developed the Helping Teachers Soar Giveaway. Teachers make a big difference in their students’ lives every day by investing their time and personal resources into their students and giving back to them is our way of saying thanks.”

In total, Members First has set aside $10,000 for qualified teachers who complete a Reimbursement Request Form and present receipt(s) for school supplies purchased in 2019.
