Medicus Healthcare Solutions in Windham promoted former COO Cristina Muise to president of the healthcare staffing and consulting company. Prior to joining Medicus in 2008, Muise worked for 12 years as CFO and COO at cloud commerce consulting firm GlobalWare Solutions in Massachusetts.
“Cristina has been instrumental in taking a strategic vision and executing on that vision to strengthen our position as an industry leader,” says Joe Matarese, Medicus founder and CEO. “With a proven track record for successfully leading large-scale initiatives and driving innovation, she is well suited to lead our development efforts as we continue our mission into the future.”
After Medicus hired Muise, she worked to secure financing and recapitalize the organization during the height of the financial crisis, which helped the company grow in revenue from $32 million in 2009 to $120 million in 2015.
Muise also helped plan the construction of a new facility in Windham, which was expanded within the past three years.
Since Muise was hired by Medicus, the company has more than doubled its employee count in NH, while also expanding operations to offices in Colorado and Texas.
