Made in NH Expo in Two Weeks

Published Tuesday Mar 25, 2014

The Made in NH Expo is celebrating its 19th year, delivering locally-produced products and services to thousands of attendees, distributors and retailers throughout New England. The event will be held April 4, 5 and 6 at the Radisson Hotel/Center of NH in Downtown Manchester.

As the event producers like to say, “We were all about buying local before buying local was cool.” Raising awareness of what’s made in NH boosts our economy and helps to maintain and create jobs in the Granite State. The Expo highlights NH’s broad creativity. Attendees are often heard exclaiming surprise at what we can make right here in NH.

The most popular aspect of this Expo is the “Try It & Buy It” theme. Expo attendees will be able to sample and buy products from both new exhibitors and many returning favorites. On display will be a variety of products from fine woodworking, jewelry, books by local authors, home décor items, accessories for people and pets, and bath and body products. Some of the food items offered will be a variety of bakery items, gourmet popcorn and confections, barbecue and hot sauces and more.

Friday, April 4 is Business-to-Business Day. Wholesale and retail buyers from across the region and members of the NH Retail Merchants Association will make the Expo their destination. Many NH government officials, top industry leaders and business owners also attend our opening ceremonies and stay to network with exhibitors and attendees. The public is also welcome on Friday.

 Expo hours:

 Friday, April 4 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. (opening ceremony begins at 2 p.m.)

 Saturday, April 5 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

 Sunday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tickets are $9 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.  Seniors will receive a $1 discount with an I.D.  All tickets may be purchased at the door.

The 19th Annual Made In NH Expo is presented by Business NH Magazine and sponsored by People’s United Bank, Steele Hill Resorts, WMUR-TV, WZID-FM and The NH Union Leader.
