A Merrimack Superior Court judge issued a ruling dismissing a $53 million lawsuit against the NH Liquor Commission that had been filed by the losing bidder of a warehousing contract.
Superior Court Judge Richard B. McNamara found that “XTL’s claim is nothing more than the grousing of a disappointed bidder,” and “The Court finds that the [Request for Proposal] the Commission issued was lawful and in compliance with New Hampshire competitive bidding law,” ruling against Pennsylvania-based XTL-NH. The Liquor Commission awarded a 20-year warehousing contract to Exel Inc. in November 2012. Read more from the Associated Press.
