The Residence Inn by Marriott Hanover-Lebanon is now operating after a more than $6 million renovation project. Renovations, which began in November 2016, include a full redesign of all 114 guest rooms, a redesigned gatehouse and lobby and a redesigned fitness center.

All rooms were outfitted with new appliances, cabinets, cupboards, countertops, tilework, carpeting and wall vinyl, as well as new furniture, beds and mattresses. More than half of the guest rooms feature glass showers and the remaining rooms have been equipped with new bathtubs and surrounds. Guests can also take advantage of a free grocery shopping service, a free daily breakfast and a complimentary shuttle.

As part of the project, the Residence Inn by Marriott Hanover-Lebanon renovated its indoor pool into a 1,200-square-foot fitness center. Along with opening the front desk to the lobby and refurbishing the interior fireplace, the hotel enlarged “The Market,” which offers 24-hour access to food and drinks. Additionally, the hotel now features a 12-person boardroom, and the common areas now feature upscale booth space for socializing. Exterior renovations include replacement of all windows and clapboards, as well as a refashion of the gatehouse roof.

Norwich Partners in Lebanon, which owns the hotel, has further construction plans for the hotel, including rebuilding the parking lot and sidewalk, as well as constructing an outdoor patio and fireplace. These improvements will commence this month and are expected to conclude by September.
