Published Wednesday May 25, 2016

Lahout's Ski and Sport
, based in Littleton, will be featured in a far away yet comfortable terrain---the Colorado mountain town of Telluride.

The short film 'Joe Lahout' will be one of the features at the Telluride Mountain Film Festival over Memorial Day. Lahouts is America's oldest ski shop. Besides Littleton, it also has stores in Lincoln. Lahout's was originally started in 1920 as a dry goods and grocery store by Lebanese immigrants Herbert  and Annie Lahout and is now run by Joe Lahout's sons, Joe Jr. and Ron. A third brother, Herb, runs the family's real estate business.

The Telluride Mountain Film Festival is known as a jumping off point for popular indie films including The Crying Game, Brokeback Mountain and Juno.
