Is NH Real Estate Back?

Published Wednesday Aug 21, 2013

On Sept. 5, the Business and Industry Association of New Hampshire will host a luncheon event focusing on the current state of New Hampshire’s housing market after the Great Recession. Sponsored by the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority, and presented in partnership with the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of New Hampshire, the event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester.

A panel of experts in the housing field will explore the state of housing as we move out of the recession. The discussion will also address whether properties are gaining value and selling, and the opportunities for rental housing and first-time home ownership for NH workers. Panelists include:

  • Kendall Buck, executive vice president, Home Builders and Remodelers Association of New Hampshire
  • William Weidacher, realtor and president, New Hampshire Realtors Association
  • Chris Davies, developer, Great Bridge Properties
  • Ignatius MacLellan, managing director, homeownership, New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority

The cost to attend the luncheon is $35 for BIA, Capitol Connect, Home Builders and Remodelers Association of New Hampshire and regional housing coalition members, and $49 for the general public. To register, visit BIAofNH.com and click on the events calendar or call 603-224-5388 x116 for information.
