Gov. and Exec. Council Award N.H. Liquor Comm. Transportation Services Contract to Excel Inc.

CONCORD, NH – Today, the Governor and Executive Council awarded a contract based on the New Hampshire Liquor Commission’s (NHLC) selection of Exel Inc. to provide transportation for spirits, wine and related products from NHLC’s contracted warehouse in Bow and state-owned facility in Concord to its network of 77 New Hampshire Liquor & Wine Outlet locations. Exel was praised by NHLC and state officials for its competitive pricing – $3 million lower over the term of the five year contract than the closest competitor –and innovative technical, service and project management solutions, which will reduce transportation costs to NHLC and its business partners.
