Elliot Health appoints Greg Baxter President

The Elliot Health System Board of Directors has appointed Greg Baxter, MD as president of Elliot Health System. According to a statement, Baxter has been with Elliot Health System since 2003 when he joined and led the emergency physician provider group, growing it to 17 physicians and 10 advanced care providers by 2008.  At that time, he was named VP of medical affairs serving as a liaison to the medical staff, board of directors and management.  In 2009, Baxter was appointed chief medical officer and has served in this leadership role for nine years.
