Drummond Woodsum Merger with Gardner Fulton & Waugh Finalized

The law firm of Gardner Fulton & Waugh has merged into Drummond Woodsum and the combined firms now have offices in three NH communities – Manchester, Portsmouth and Lebanon. According to a statement, as a result of the merger, Drummond Woodsum is among the largest providers of legal services to the public sector. The newly combined firm will provide service to NH towns, cities, counties and school districts.

“This merger joins two law firms with a common focus on and belief in the role of local government and schools as the cornerstone of our communities. By expanding the number of experienced lawyers focused on municipal and school law, we can offer local governments and school districts the range of experience and expertise available from a large regional law firm while maintaining a local focus. Our goal is to provide governmental clients with the highest quality legal services in a cost-effective manner,” says Mark Broth, Drummond Woodsum’s managing shareholder in NH. “As important as our common commitment to clients, we also share common values, which enhances our ability to provide clients with a cohesive client service team.”

Adele Fulton, managing partner from Gardner Fulton & Waugh, added, “This merger was the next logical step for Gardner Fulton & Waugh as we evolve to meet the increasingly complex needs of New Hampshire municipalities and school districts.”
