College dorm rooms embraced the micro living movement long before there was a micro living movement. Fitting two or three people in a small room along with a bed, desk and dresser for each required loft beds and other creative uses of space. But as some colleges look to update student housing they are going even smaller, replacing dorm rooms with common rooms and sleeping pods. At The College of Wooster in Ohio, the pod rooms range from 72 square feet for a single pod to 108 square feet for a double pod.
